Branding and Visual Identity

Developed and executed cohesive brand identities that enhance recognition and audience engagement. Led rebranding initiatives to modernize visual identity while maintaining brand integrity. My goal is to ensure consistent brand representation by incorporating the department’s logo and name on all materials, merchandise, and communications to maintain brand authenticity and recognition.

Below is an example of the department’s previous logo. Upon being hired, I led the department through a name change and rebrand, developing the current logo used today. Additionally, my team collaborated with the Pat Walker Health Center to create the UARK Wellness logo. Gotham is the official typeface for UREC, ensuring consistency across all branding materials.

Photography & Videography

Direct and produce high-quality photo and video content to enhance brand storytelling. Capture dynamic visuals for campaigns, events, and promotional efforts

Print & Digital Media

Design compelling marketing materials for both print and digital platforms, ensuring clear messaging and brand consistency. Create
high-impact designs for magazines, digital boards, and promotional materials.

Merchandise & Promotional Products

Design and develop branded merchandise that enhances brand visibility and audience engagement. Ensure designs align with brand identity while being functional, stylish, and appealing to target demographics.

Strategy & Analytics

Developed intake processes for graphic design, social media, and photography requests to streamline workflow, ensure consistency, and optimize project management.

Continually develop and execute strategic marketing plans backed by data and insights. Measure effectiveness using analytics tools and adjust strategies to optimize performance.

Lead weekly team meetings with professional and student staff to ensure high-quality work, maintain deadlines, and review analytics. Use data-driven insights to pivot strategies and optimize performance as needed.

Oversee social media strategy of the largest Instagram account in the Division of Student Affairs by providing guidance and strategic direction.

Conduct semester reviews with the full UREC staff to showcase marketing initiatives, assess program area metrics, and align future strategies with
data-driven insights.

Website & UX/UI Project

Led website redesign projects focused on user experience, accessibility, and brand consistency. Developed wireframes, collaborated with developers, and optimized content for engagement and usability.

In addition to cleaning up content, a main goal was to streamline website navigation by removing the left-hand menu, enhancing user experience, and improving accessibility.

To the left is a comparison of the current UREC website, which contains redundant content and an outdated left-hand navigation tabs versus the new streamlined wireframe that removes unnecessary elements and directs users efficiently to their desired information.

Campaigns

Led the public communication efforts for the HPER Building renovation announcement by developing a comprehensive outreach strategy, including a dedicated webpage, social media plan, news article, press release, feedback form, and additional informational materials to ensure transparency and engagement.

We continuously update the renovation webpage and share weekly behind-the-scenes footage on Instagram to keep members informed and engaged throughout the renovation process.
